A Man and His Dog 20 x 16

Abundant Living 16x20

In one small scene we have boats that look for shrimp, fish and oysters along with a bird looking for its share of the crop. God richly supplies! Psalm 65:11

Afternoon Sail 9 x 12

Asleep 24 x 20

Attitude 9 x 12

Don't you just love this rooster's attitude? He has "confidence" written all over him. Sometimes I picture Jesus as meek & mild while in reality, He is also bold & confident. He wants me to have the same attitude! II Timothy 1:7

Baptism 24x36

When Jesus was baptized, the sky was torn open & the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus in the form of a dove. God called Jesus His beloved Son, & said He was pleased with Him. Then Jesus went into the desert & was tempted by Satan. Jesus responded with the Sword of the Spirit - the Word of God - hence the sword in the painting.

Bathed in Color 9x12

I enjoyed all the beautiful reflected shadow colors in this Jack Roe Island scene. James 1:17

Beach Coral 24 x 20

Bell Tower

Blues and Greens 9x12

This painting is a study of all the sky blues & marsh greens in the beautiful morning light on Jekyll Island.

Branches 9 x 12

Building Castles 11x14

Summer Vacation! We are never too old to build castles! Matthew 7:24-27

Carried by the Wind 16x20

We had a fabulous week of sailing in the British Virgin Islands. Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, carried across the water by the wind - God is a magnificent creator!

Covenant and Kingdom 24 x 20

Jesus died to allow me eternal life. I am now a child of the King. Notice the crown of thorns turning into a royal crown and the blood becoming a royal robe.

Don't Move 24 x 36

My husband & I were in the kayaks late one afternoon, and this lovely heron decided to pose. Heron's are usually so skittish that I tried to keep the kayak perfectly still while taking advantage of his willingness to pose.

Dove Series #1 8x10

The Dove is often a symbol of the Holy Spirit. "Even while you sleep among the campfires, the wings of my dove are sheathed with silver, its feathers with shining gold." Psalm 68:13

Dove Series #2 8x10

Dove Series #3 8x10

Dove Series #4 8x10

Fall Touches the Marsh 12 x 9

The change of seasons is causing the gold colors to appear on the marsh. My life also goes through seasons. I have found that when in a difficult season, if I hold fast to God, He is faithful to bring breakthrough & restore my peace & joy. Going through fire produces gold in my life. I Peter 1:7

Following the Path 16 x 20

This path was beside a wine vineyard in the foothills of SC. The day was full of beauty & adventure. So often in my life I want to see what is ahead. But God chooses to reveal my path one step at a time. He knows what is around that next corner & will lead me. Psalm 143:10

Harbor Reflections 20 x 16

In Motion 12 x 9

In the Shadows

Investment 30x40

As the Father invests in the Son, so am I to invest in and disciple others.

Marsh Glider 20 x 16

Mass of Palms 14x18

I loved the warm light coming through these trees as we walked around Jack Roe Island.

Moving Forward 20 x 24

As we walked along a sunlit marsh path, we came upon a canopy of trees. The path through them looked dark & uncertain. But there was actually plenty of light filtering through the tress as we stepped forward. God may call me to step into something that is a little uncertain to me, but as I step into it, He lights every step.

My Morning Walk

Nose Dive 20 x 24

My husband Bud & friend Jim have been teaching me about billfish. Jim has taken me out on his boat fishing several times - quite an adventure! I have also been thoroughly entertained by his many incredible "fish tales". Genesis 1:26

Peacefulness 16x20

The shelter of a beautiful moss draped oak tree overlooking the marsh - the epitome of the lowcountry. Does it get any better than this? Psalm 55:8

Protective Buffer 24 x 20

Riding bikes one hot morning on Jekyll Island, the path led through the cool of the trees. I know that in my life, God often puts a buffer of protection around me. It's what I ask when I pray, "Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil".

Reaching for the Sun

Rich Hues 9x12

A cold morning walk full of warm fall colors. A great combination! God must love the change of seasons as much as I do - the chance to use a whole different palette of colors!

Sailfish 30 x 24

Seeing Breakthrough 24 x 30

The light & the colors on this morning walk were spectacular. I was walking alone because my husband Bud had been injured and was unable to walk with me. I prayed "Thy Kingdom Come" as I looked for God's kingdom to break through into my life. I have seen breakthrough as He has continued to bring wonderful healing to my husband.

Shades of White 9 x 12

I love painting hydrangeas, but this was my first venture into painting white hydrangeas. I sometimes think it takes color to catch attention but the subtlety of these whites suggests otherwise. I Peter 3:4

Slivers of Light 16 x 12

On our afternoon creek jaunts, I love to watch the sunlight play through the clouds. What a magnificent artist our God is! I John 1:5

Soft Morning 16 x 20

Morning light is so soft & beautiful. The boats docked at Jekyll Island just shimmered on this quiet morning. Most of us look nicer in a soft light. I should remember that as I look at the lives of those around me. I should graciously use a "soft light". James 2:3

Standout

Summer Mountain

Taking A Break 24 x 20

What? 20 x 16

I had the feeling she was studying me just as hard as I was studying her. What was I doing in her pasture?

Working Boat 14 x 11

We passed this dock most days on our afternoon cruise in the Keys. The Keys have their own special color palette.
