A Man and His Dog 20 x 16

A Touch of Coral 14x22

It is amazing how the simple touch of coral brings an entire scene to life. What an influence a bright color can make on a blue, gray day.

Abide 20x24

Unless I abide in the vine (Jesus), I cannot bear any fruit of value. John 15:4

Afternoon Sail 9 x 12

Attitude 9 x 12

Don't you just love this rooster's attitude? He has "confidence" written all over him. Sometimes I picture Jesus as meek & mild while in reality, He is also bold & confident. He wants me to have the same attitude! II Timothy 1:7

Bathing Birds 20x24

I loved watching these birds from a distance. They were totally unaware of my presence as they went about doing what birds do.

Branches 9 x 12

Building Castles 11x14

Summer Vacation! We are never too old to build castles! Matthew 7:24-27

Close Enough to Touch 24x30

I love to paint the marsh from the viewpoint of my kayak. Seeing it from a distance is great, but becoming immersed in it is even better.

Cool Waters 8X10

I painted this waterfall on location in Table Rock State Park. It was a very hot day, and just looking at the waterfall made me somehow feel cooler.

Dainty Petals 9x12

I love the soft, fragile petals of the hydrangea. We often don’t think of them as many, many small petals, but as one large, beautiful flower. I Corinthians 12: 12-26

Dancing Colors

British Virgin Islands

Dusk Flight 20X24

Late one afternoon as the sun was beginning to descend behind the trees, this elegant egret flew by – backlit by the setting sun.

Entering the Harbor 24x36

McClellanville is a wonderful “stopping off” point when we travel by boat from Georgetown to Charleston. We can count on the dolphin to great us as we enter the harbor.

Favorite Things 24x30

This painting has elements of so may of my favorite things…beautiful oaks draped in Spanish moss, marsh, winding creeks – and a quiet retreat under the trees.

Floral Series #2 8x10

Floral Series #3 8x10

Following the Path 16 x 20

This path was beside a wine vineyard in the foothills of SC. The day was full of beauty & adventure. So often in my life I want to see what is ahead. But God chooses to reveal my path one step at a time. He knows what is around that next corner & will lead me. Psalm 143:10

Harbor Reflections 20 x 16

In Motion 12 x 9

Movement 20x24

Against the dark backdrop of trees and marsh, this white beauty soars.

Moving Forward 20 x 24

As we walked along a sunlit marsh path, we came upon a canopy of trees. The path through them looked dark & uncertain. But there was actually plenty of light filtering through the tress as we stepped forward. God may call me to step into something that is a little uncertain to me, but as I step into it, He lights every step.

Muddy Waters 30x36

$3000

I often say my favorite color when decorating is “mud”. Sounds crazy, but I love beautiful neutrals. Here is an example of the wonderful color of mud.

My Morning Walk

Oasis 16x20

Traveling down the Intercoastal Waterway on this glorious day, the clouds provided just enough relief from the heat - as well as a work of art in the sky!

Pawleys Marsh 12x36

This is the view from my dock. I love the changing colors and life of the marsh.

Protective Buffer 24 x 20

Riding bikes one hot morning on Jekyll Island, the path led through the cool of the trees. I know that in my life, God often puts a buffer of protection around me. It's what I ask when I pray, "Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil".

Reaching for the Sun

Rich Hues 9x12

A cold morning walk full of warm fall colors. A great combination! God must love the change of seasons as much as I do - the chance to use a whole different palette of colors!

Rough and Ready 24x30

Shrimp boats seem to have personalities. They have worked hard and their roughness reminds me of the gray hair on a wise old man. Proverbs 20:29

Sailfish 30 x 24

Shades of White 9 x 12

I love painting hydrangeas, but this was my first venture into painting white hydrangeas. I sometimes think it takes color to catch attention but the subtlety of these whites suggests otherwise. I Peter 3:4
